It was a very busy 2008 for us with gigs and performances at parties, functions and events across the UK and beyond. As well as the Ed Sullivan black suits, Shea Stadium, Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road outfits we regularly perform in, we now have the option of newly purchased Hard Days Night suits. These were bought from the USA and the famous tailor Russ Lease, who is making some of the most accurate and high quality replica Beatles gear available today.
The Beatalls 2007/8
Lots of gigs and events keeping us off the streets and even off Liverpool’s Mathew Street, meaning we won’t be playing the Beatle Festival in August there this year. Hopefully we will get a day off to visit Liverpool’s Beatle Week (August Bank holiday) so please say “Hi” if you see us.
And for muso anoraks ? we have acquiired several new and vintage Beatles instruments in the last year or so and shall update the instruments page in due course. For example, we have new Gretsch Country Gent and Tennessean guitars, new Rickenbacker 325c58, a vintage 1967 Epiphone Casino in exact Lennon spec., and a vintage Ludwig maple drum kit.
Beatle Week 2006
Some nice words from Liverpool's Beatle Festival Organisers:
The Beatalls are back for their seventh consecutive festival. In 2003 the band were invited to play the Cavern Club in Liverpool prior to Paul McCartney`s final Back in the World Tour gig at Kings Dock. What a day that was! Other memorable moments include the launch of John Lennon Airport gig in Lisbon; every Liverpool Beatle Week (of course!); meeting and chatting to John`s sister Julia, George`s sister Louise, Pete Best, Ken Brown, Astrid and Klaus, Allan Williams...the list goes on.
