I originally joined the band 2-3 years earlier when they were known as 'Twist and Shout' At that time I as very much second choice and a stand in as the original John Lennon was unable to join the band. With a switch around of members I was finally demoted to George Harrison. 'The ugly gormless one'.

I used to be sick before performances. All the attention from the girls and the sharing of a microphone with Ian Watts. (AKA Paul Mc Fartney) would make me very ill.

Now I'm free of the band I have become a real person and live as a recluse with my family out in the wilds of Warwickshire.
